Worker Co-op Education Series – Last Session Today!

  • by

The final session in our series of educational events about worker cooperatives, in partnership with the Madison Public Library, is today (Tuesday 6/18). The online session will be held from 6:30-8:00pm. For more details, and to register for the Zoom link, visit https://madpl.org/coop.

Our last topic is Co-op Financing. A crucial question for every start-up business is access to financing. Learn about the ecosystem of organizations that provide financing for worker cooperatives. We’ll be joined by Esther West from Shared Capital Cooperative and Isabella Sgriccia from kiva and WWBIC. Join us to learn from these funders and take advantage of the opportunity to ask questions of them directly.

This session is free and open to anyone.

If you weren’t able to make it to Co-ops 101 or Co-ops 201, you can still join us for today’s session. Please note that we will not be recording the session. If you would like more information or to plan a presentation for your group, contact MCDC Director, Charity Schmidt at charity.schmidt@wisc.edu.
